We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable person to join our Revenues Customer Services team to assist with the Revenues and Benefits administration and front line duties.
The duties of the post include assisting customers with their enquiries both face to face and over the telephone, plus electronic enquiries in relation to Housing Benefits, Council Tax Support, Council Tax and Business Rates billing, Electoral Registration and Home Options and Housing Solutions enquiries. You will also provide reception and telephony services as part of the Council’s main reception and switchboard team.
Applicants need to have good communication and numeracy skills and be able to work to a high degree of accuracy. The ability to work under pressure both on your own and as part of a busy team is essential.
This post requires the use of a number of the Council’s computerised systems so excellent IT skills are essential.
