The above 4 year fixed term Apprenticeship vacancy now exists within the Dragonfly Development’s  Housing Repairs service based at its Riverside Depot, Doe Lea. The Company is wholly owned by Bolsover District Council.

 

Dragonfly Development Limited is working in partnership with Bolsover District Council and is a dynamic and ambitious organisation that takes pride in delivering excellent services to our community whilst driving economic growth and environmental sustainability for the district.

You will gain relevant skills and experience as you assist colleagues in carrying out repairs and maintenance work throughout the Bolsover District. You will also attend Chesterfield College, Infirmary Road, Chesterfield, S41 7NG one day per week, where you will study the theory and practical aspects of your Plumbing and Gas qualification.

To be successful you will need:

  • Customer Service skills
  • Enthusiastic approach to work and training
  • Ability to work safely and responsibly at all times
  • Polite and friendly with a professional attitude
  • Practical, hands on skills
  • Genuine interest in Plumbing and associated building trades.
  • Willing to learn

And

  • GCSE Grades A*-C (9-4) or Equivalent in English and Maths and a confident approach to IT
