We are looking for a Senior Lawyer to join our successful Commercial legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial lawyer to develop their management and leadership skills.
You will manage the Commercial team together with the Principal Lawyer and assist them to develop positive and effective relationships with client departments. You be the legal lead on many of the Council’s projects and will provide legal advice and support on a range of complex commercial and local government matters. You will also be a member of the Legal Division’s Senior Leadership Team.

You will be a qualified Barrister, Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive who shares the Council’s ambition to work together with our partners and communities to be an enterprising council, delivering value for money and enabling local people and places to thrive.
