The Valley Federation Governors are looking to appoint a cheerful and dynamic Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our expanding support staff team, initially based at Hope Primary.
The role will be primarily working with KS2 pupils.
The successful applicant will value inclusion and relish working in a child-centred way. They will be happy to follow the teachers lead but equally be forward thinking and proactive to enable adaptive teaching to flow effectively throughout the day.
We are looking for someone who has experience and/or the confidence to deliver high quality literacy support to pupils with specific literacy difficulties.
There may be the opportunity for the successful applicant to develop their skills in an SEN support role and access training to deliver programmes of such as positive play, outdoor education provision and Lego-based therapy.
