The Governing Board of Highfield Hall Primary School, Chesterfield, is seeking to appoint an experienced and dynamic member of staff to Child and Family Support in the afternoons. This post is for 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 40 weeks per year.
The role would involve supporting with the office functions of the school, including dealing with enquiries from parents and managing attendance. However, the role also involves working with families to overcome barriers to ensure children reach their potential at school. Examples include working on strategies to improve attendance, completing Early Help Assessments and other appropriate paperwork, or supporting families with parenting skills, and attending safeguarding meetings with families and Social Care.
