We are excited to announce an opportunity to join a dedicated team focused on improving the lives of children, young people, and their families across Derbyshire. The Commissioning Team collaborates with various departments within Children’s Services to design and source services, as well as monitor their quality, effectiveness, and cost.
We are currently seeking a dynamic, innovative, and motivated Placement Commissioning Officer who is dedicated to improving outcomes for children and young people. In this role, you will support effective planning, commissioning, and service improvement by engaging with a range of stakeholders, including Local Authority officials, external providers, and community members. Your goal will be to secure safe, efficient, and effective services for children, young people, and their families.
This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with leaders and stakeholders across Children’s Services, the wider Authority, and external organisations.
