Come and join us as we build a new ‘One Council’ centralised Business Services, with a vision to create efficient, effective and consistent business processes and administrative support. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Business Services Team for committed and flexible individuals to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Emergency Planning. You will be joining the team at an exciting time where a new structure and a new digital platform have recently been implemented.
You will work as part of a team and will be trained to cover all aspects of the administrative support required to be able to provide cover and meet the needs of the service.
What will I be doing:
In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Emergency Planning Department, including managing correspondence, coordinating meetings, and maintaining document systems.

Skills and Experience we are looking for:
- Excellent IT skills, which includes the use of Microsoft packages.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
