About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding practitioner to be the Deputy Faculty Leader – Music Specialist across all year groups 7-13, at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School Ashbourne. As the, Deputy Faculty Leader – Music you will be accountable for student progress and development within the curriculum area and specified year groups. The postholder will work as part of the wider Performing Arts Faculty, which encompasses Music, Dance and Drama, contributing to a cohesive and ambitious curriculum across these disciplines. The role includes supporting a rich programme of extra-curricular and enrichment opportunities, including annual whole-school productions, termly music concerts, school orchestra, choirs and vocal groups, and a range of community and partnership performances. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting participation, raising the profile of the performing arts, and ensuring high-quality performance opportunities for all students.

Tapestry Learning Partnership are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Deputy Faculty Leader – Specialising in Music, to join our hardworking and high-achieving team at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School. This is a permanent opportunity for an aspiring middle leader to support the Faculty Leader in leading and developing Music across Key Stages 3–5. The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with a passion for Music education, a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning, and the ability to inspire students both within and beyond the classroom.
