The Children, Staff and Governors of Scargill Church of England Primary School are looking to appoint an excellent, highly motivated and committed individual to join our team.

Scargill CofE Primary School is a large friendly Primary School situated in West Hallam Village and pride ourselves on being committed to raising standards and whose aim is to ensure all pupils achieve the best they can. This is a great place to teach, with a very supportive school team and strong community spirit.

We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who has high expectations, can inspire and motivate all learners to achieve their full potential and deliver consistently high-quality learning opportunities for all children.

This is a temporary part-time position, to teach in a mixed Year 3 and Year 4 class. An understanding of Key Stage 2 expectations and assessments is essential.

This is a fixed-term contract covering Maternity Leave. The successful candidate will join our staff from 1 September, 2025 – 31 December, 2025.
