If you feel that you have the potential to be an inspirational teacher in our small village school then we would love to meet you!

Our schools are places where creativity and innovation are welcomed and we are very keen to meet teachers who would enjoy teaching across the whole primary age-range. We believe strongly in evidence-based practice at our school and our aim is for the curriculum to be the most awe-inspiring it can be for all of our children. New and exciting ideas are always a part of school life.

We are seeking to appoint a new teacher who will be deployed at Brassington Primary School. The successful candidate will be focused on supporting a mixed age Key Stage Two class, more specifically Year 3 and 4. The working pattern will be 4 mornings, Monday to Friday.

We offer first class CPD and support with career progression in our flexible, happy and dedicated team. The key aim of the school is to have happy children and this extends to everyone who is part of the school, which is why work-life balance and personal support is a priority for everyone.

The successful candidate will be invited to start as soon as they are available (preferably September 2026) and the appropriate checks can be made.

Prior experience, as outlined in the person specification, is helpful, but not essential. We are very happy to work with potential and being early in your teaching career will not be a barrier to being a successful applicant.

The Village Federation offers an excellent working environment where talent is nurtured, work-life balance is valued and everyone is determined to create a happy and successful environment for children and adults alike.
