If you feel that you have the potential to be an inspirational teacher in one of our small village schools, then we would love to meet you!

Our schools are places where creativity and innovation are welcomed and we are very keen to meet teachers who would enjoy teaching across the whole primary age-range, but the focus for this post would be primarily KS2 children. We believe strongly in evidence-based practice at our school and our aim is for the curriculum to be the most awe-inspiring it can be for all our children. New and exciting ideas are always a part of school life.

We are seeking to appoint a teacher to cover maternity leave at Carsington & Hopton C of E Primary School.

The role would commence on 4th September 2025 (or as soon after) and run until approx. Easter 2026. The successful candidate will be focused on supporting children across Key stage 2.

We offer first class CPD and support with career progression in our flexible, happy and dedicated team. The key aim of our schools is to have happy children and this extends to everyone who is part of the schools, which is why work-life balance and personal support is a priority for everyone.

Prior experience, as outlined in the person specification, is helpful, but not essential. We are very happy to work with potential and being early in your teaching career will not be a barrier to being a successful applicant. Visits to the school are welcomed by contacting our Executive Headteacher via business@thevillagefederation.co.uk

The Village Federation offers an excellent working environment where talent is nurtured, work-life balance is valued, and everyone is determined to create a happy and successful environment for children and adults alike.
