We are seeking an exceptional and enthusiastic teacher to join our team as EYFS Leader and Class Teacher for our mixed Reception and Year 1 class from January 2027 to cover a period of maternity leave.

About the Role
The successful candidate will:
- Lead and continue the development of our Early Years provision.
- Teach a mixed Reception and Year 1 class.
- Create a rich, stimulating and language-focused learning environment.
- Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Ensure every child achieves their full potential through high expectations and inclusive practice.
- Contribute fully to the wider life of the school and our close-knit team.
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
- Is an excellent classroom practitioner with experience of EYFS.
- Has a strong understanding of child development and early learning.
- Can effectively teach across the Reception/Year 1 age range.
- Has high expectations of achievement, behaviour and wellbeing.
- Is committed to inclusion and meeting the needs of all learners.
- Demonstrates creativity, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for early education.
- Has the leadership skills to further develop our EYFS provision.
- Shares our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
