You would be expected to lead Phonics & Pleasure for Reading across school so a range of teaching experiences would be a plus. A proven track record of subject leadership and a passion for reading is a prerequisite and bring ideas and be motivated.
We are very much a family school, and we embrace our motto of ‘Every Child, Every Day’. The school grounds are ideal for a broad curriculum, and we are looking to develop the use of our forest to enhance learning.

This is a permanent position from Easter 2026.
Pay scale MPS 4 -6 (depending on experience) with a TLR to lead Phonics with a focus on Read Write Inc & reading fluency.
