We are seeking a hardworking, passionate teacher with drive and enthusiasm to cover for a maternity leave in our welcoming Primary School at the heart of Glossop. The successful candidate will be an excellent practitioner, with a good understanding of the primary curriculum and high expectations of both achievement behaviour. The successful candidate will join our supportive team in Key Stage Two from September 2026.
We are looking for a teacher who genuinely values teamwork, community support and most importantly, fantastic children! The ideal candidate will be creative and inspirational with a passion to support our children to achieve their full potential in a mixed year group class.
You will need to:
- Be passionate about learning and dedicated to providing the best possible opportunities for pupils in your class and provide challenge at all levels
- Be able to motivate and support pupils at all levels demonstrating a commitment to inclusion and safeguarding
- Be an excellent communicator at all levels
- Be able to lead and develop a subject area.
