Service Development Officer
Location: North East Derbyshire locality primarily, also with some county-wide travel required.
Are you passionate about improving health and wellbeing in local communities? Join our dynamic Localities Public Health Team, which works collaboratively across the eight boroughs and districts to identify and address barriers to better health through a community-focused public health approach.
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Service Development Officer to support the delivery of our locality-based public health strategy. This role is pivotal in fostering strong partnerships, facilitating community engagement, and driving forward initiatives that make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the coordination and delivery of local Health & Wellbeing Partnership meetings and leadership group.
- Lead and facilitate selected community and health-focused subgroups within the locality.
- Translate strategic priorities into operational delivery plans in collaboration with local partners.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across the locality, fostering collaboration and shared outcomes.
- Develop and share case studies, reports, and insights to highlight local impact and inform county-wide learning.
- Manage local monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
- Maintain a broad understanding of cross-county public health programmes and contribute local intelligence to inform wider team efforts.
- Regular travel across North East Derbyshire is required, also with some county-wide travel.
