An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Derbyshire County Councils Public Health Department to support the delivery of Tobacco Dependency Treatment. We are looking to appoint a Health Improvement Advisor to deliver Tobacco Dependency Treatment to inpatients based at Royal Derby Hospital.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and growing service which is looking for individuals with a passion and ability for supporting people addicted to tobacco.

You will require excellent communication and listening skills with a knowledge and understanding of behaviour change. You will require experience of working independently and the role also requires partnership working and promotion. A good level of IT literacy will also be required to navigate IT systems and ensure high quality data. Knowledge and experience of tobacco dependency would be advantageous for this role.

The role will be 30 hours a week preferably weekdays but there are further options to explore flexibility within the 30 hours.
