Derbyshire Pension Fund is excited to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join us in the role of Pensions Officer.
As a key member of our growing team, you’ll play a vital role in administering the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) for over 96,000 members and 370+ employers. From onboarding new employers to calculating and arranging member benefits, your role will directly support our members’ participation in the LGPS.

What we’re looking for:
• Proven experience and extensive knowledge in LGPS administration or a similar customer-focussed environment.
• Strong data and numerical skills and the ability to interpret and analyse information with accuracy and confidence.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to explain complex rules clearly.
• Competency and ability in using the Microsoft 365 package and other applications
• Ability to manage workloads independently and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• A proactive mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
