- Promote EMCCA business support programmes and connect businesses to wider regional growth opportunities
- Support the development of sector-focused skills and careers activity, encouraging greater awareness of opportunities within priority industries
- Provide insight, research, and analysis to support strategic decision-making and sector development activity
- Contribute to engagement activity that strengthens productivity, resilience, and innovation across the regional economy
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure sector priorities are reflected within wider economic growth programmes and initiatives.

- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes
- Experience working collaboratively with businesses, education providers, trade bodies, and public sector partners
- Ability to develop effective working relationships and support collaborative projects and initiatives
