Working closely with senior leaders, local authority partners and external stakeholders, you'll develop and deliver our Corporate Asset Management Strategy, helping to inform investment decisions, improve asset performance and support the organisation's long-term ambitions.

What you'll be doing

You'll:

  • Provide expert advice on property and asset management to senior leaders and elected members.
  • Identify opportunities to improve asset performance, make best use of the estate and support organisational priorities.
  • Oversee governance, compliance and risk management across the property portfolio.
  • Support major capital projects, workplace improvements and estate development initiatives.
  • Develop business cases and provide property input into investment decisions.
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities, partner organisations and professional advisers.
  • Manage external consultants and ensure projects are delivered effectively.

About you

You'll have:

  • Experience leading strategic asset management programmes.
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness.
  • Experience advising senior leaders and working with elected members or boards.
  • Knowledge of property legislation, compliance and governance.
  • The ability to build effective relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A collaborative approach and the confidence to lead change.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • A degree in Estates Management, Surveying, Property Management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Desirable:

  • Membership of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) or another relevant professional body.
  • A management or leadership qualification.

Why join EMCCA?

This is an opportunity to join a growing organisation at an important stage of its development. You'll help shape how our estate is managed, work on high-profile projects and play a key role in supporting the delivery of our organisational priorities.

We offer a flexible hybrid working environment, opportunities for professional development and the chance to work with colleagues and partners who are committed to delivering positive outcomes across the East Midlands.
