Hours: 21.88 hours per week across both sites

Location: Dronfield Active, Civic Centre, Dronfield, S18 1PD & Eckington Active, Gosber Street, Eckington, Derbyshire, S21 4DA (or any other Leisure establishment).

Job Details and Requirements

Applications are invited for the post of a Part time Receptionist based at Dronfield Active and Eckington Active, hours of work will include daytime, evening, and weekend shifts. A copy of the rota is available as part of the application pack.

This is a key post that interacts with all our customers visiting the centre. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake front of house duties such as operating a booking system, dealing with admission tickets and enquiries together with processing payments.

The successful applicant will have experience of dealing with members of the public, personally and over the telephone and experience of routinely handling cash transactions. The ability to work as part of a team and excellent interpersonal skills are essential to this role.

The post is normally based at Dronfield Active and Eckington Active, but the successful candidate must be willing to work at any of the council’s establishments should the need arise.

The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure carried out by the DBS at the Basic Level.
