We would welcome applications for two Community Enforcement Ranger roles based within the Community Safety and Enforcement Department.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative, forward-looking team. The post holders will be first responders to complaints of Anti-Social Behaviour and nuisance reported to the Council and will take the relevant enforcement action as necessary. Successful candidates will carry out lone working as, in addition to working alongside the existing team of Rangers and partner agencies such as the police.
To be successful you will need:
- An awareness of community matters in order to get to know local people and understand their concerns and to act as role models and ambassadors for the District
- The ability to demonstrate strong customer focus and a commitment to service improvements
- The ability to work out of hours/weekends/evenings on a shift rota basis
- The successful candidate will be required to apply for an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate
