We are looking to appoint a minimum of 4x Active Schools Partnership PE & School Sport Coach on a 10-30 hours per week contract initially up until 23rd July 2026 with a view to extending subject to further funding. 

You will be required to work as part of the South Derbyshire Active Schools Partnership team, primarily you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality PE curriculum and School Sport programme within a range of Primary, Infant & Junior schools within the district. You will also be required to support the delivery of a wide range of programmes that the Partnership’s delivers, these may include Bikeability, Balanceability, Holiday Activity Fund, Enrichment activities and affiliation programmes. All hours worked above contracted hours will be reimbursed at the appropriate rate. 

The post holder will need extensive knowledge and competency in the subject of Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity. The successful candidate will also have vast experience of working within schools, understanding of effective pedagogy and practice within education and knowledge of the OFSTED Inspection Framework.
