We are looking for a Lawyer to join our successful Environment legal team. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and progressive local authority, providing legal advice and support to the council. Key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Providing advice and assistance to officers of the County Council on environment matters including highways, transport, town & country planning, public rights of way and Town and Village Greens.
  • Advising on, preparing and conducting the presentation of cases to public inquiry and/or courts on behalf of the County Council
  • Preparation of reports

 

What skills and experience do you need to have:

  • Experience of advising on environmental law including highways, transport, town & country planning, public rights of way and Town and Village Greens.
  • Knowledge of current legislation and case law relating to environmental law
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure
