As a Payroll Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality payroll and data services to managers, employees, and external clients. You'll be the go-to expert for processing transactions, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring our people get paid accurately and on time.

🤝Who You'll Work With

Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you'll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders including:

     HR Leadership Team

  • HR Systems, Pay & Reward, and Recruitment Teams
  • HR Business Partners and Resourcing Managers
  • Pension Funds and external clients

 Your ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively will be key to your success.

📌What You'll Be Doing

  • Processing HR and payroll transactions using our HR database (SAP)
  • Ensuring data accuracy across organisational structures and employee records
  • Providing top-tier customer support to internal and external stakeholders
  • Suggesting improvements to streamline processes and enhance service delivery
  • Handling enquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and care
  • Upholding confidentiality and data protection standards

🧠What You'll Bring

Essential:

  • Experience in administrative and customer service roles
  • Strong numeracy, literacy, and organisational skills
  • Ability to analyse information and prioritise tasks
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • 4 GCSEs (Grades 7-4) or equivalent

Desirable:

  • Experience with SAP payroll software
  • Familiarity with hybrid working environments
