An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Asset Management Team to shape the future delivery of capital investment to Bolsover District Council’s housing stock. The successful candidate must have a positive attitude, excellent people skills, be able to manage competing demands and be able to operate both individually and within a team. The role will involve a mix of both office and site-based work and will including relevant training.
You will be working closely with Property Services and the internal Repairs Team to identify future schemes for capital investment. This will involve
- Carrying out housing stock condition surveys for which training will be provided.
- Providing inspections and reports on various housing archetypes.
- Assisting in the design, procurement and management of welfare adaptations to make homes suitable for tenant’s needs.
- Monitoring your project budgets
- Carrying out Health, Safety and Quality / progress inspections and maintaining adequate records.
- Ensuring your work is delivered in line with all statutory and corporate policies, procedures and targets.
- Adherence to Leaseholder legislation and consultation where necessary.
All officers may be required to be available in the event of “out of hours” emergencies
