The Highway Asset Strategy group are looking for an enterprising and innovative systems thinking asset management technician to support the highway service.
The team manage the Single Asset Management System, Alloy by Causeway, which holds details of the County’s Highway Assets including more detailed attributes and a history of works undertaken on; carriageways, footways, structures, street lighting, street furniture, traffic signs and signals.
The successful applicant will be involved in building, maintaining and developing the new Single Asset Management System, Alloy, updating assets and attributes in line with the Data Management Strategy, maintaining the local street gazetteer in QGIS and contribute to the building and maintenance of the customer forms and processes within the Council’s Customer Relationship Management System, Granicus Firmstep, and Case Management System HALO.
This is a temporary post and applicants should be IT literate with a knowledge of geographical information systems/asset management systems/customer relationship management systems, or have transferrable skills relating to the use of IT systems and their development.
