Safe, kind, local learning for young people. Derbyshire Adult Community Education Service (DACES) are recruiting a Programme Development Worker (PDW) for our programme for young people (14 to 19) at Swadlincote Adult Community Centre DE11 8JL and our Project SEARCH Supported Internship work based learning programme open to young people aged 18 to 24 with an EHCP based at Amazon East Midlands Airport DE74 2BB.
The contract is for 29.6 hours per week (0.8fte) working Monday to Friday (daytime) and your working hours will be planned between Swadlincote ACE and Amazon each week.
The PDW role includes teaching and assessing (as a qualified tutor) and allocated time for managerial duties supporting the development of programmes; management of staff, quality of teaching and learning and in particular adaptive teaching; liaison with partner agencies and families; data monitoring and progression; recruiting learners and pastoral and safeguarding support.
