As a valued member of our supportive school community, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide high-quality support to pupils in their final year of primary school. This is a key role, especially as our Year 6 pupils prepare for their SATs and transition to secondary school. Key Responsibilities: Support the learning and development of Year 6 pupils, both in class and in small groups. Assist with the planning and delivery of engaging and differentiated learning activities. Provide targeted support to children with varying needs, including those with SEND. Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress. Promote the school’s values and high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
We are looking for someone who: Has experience of working in KS2 and above. Is committed, proactive and nurturing in their approach. Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills. Are confident supporting literacy and numeracy learning at an upper primary level. Holds a relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
