Ashgate Croft is a large and complex area special school. We provide education and care for pupils with learning difficulties, including autism, profound and multiple learning difficulties and associated communication, behavioural and physical needs, and we follow a bespoke curriculum in order to meet each child's needs which is informed by the EQUALS curriculum
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly motivated Specialist Teaching & Learning Assistant to support access to learning for pupils across our lower and upper school departments and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom as and when required. This vacancy is being advertised as:
1 x Full-Time Cover TA's 32.5 hours per week 8:45am - 3:45pm) Mon-Fri 39 weeks per year based in any class across the school (See wording below)
We are seeking to appoint a Full-Time dedicated and highly motivated Specialist Teaching & Learning Assistants to provide cover support across our Primary, Middle, Upper School & Post-16 departments where needed. These positions are not linked to a specific class as the successful candidates will be providing cover for any absences or additional support required across the school, which will change on a daily basis.
