Westfield Infant School have a rare and wonderful opportunity! We are looking for an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term basis. We are seeking a caring individual who has a genuine passion for early childhood education and possesses the skills to foster a nurturing learning environment for our youngest pupils.
The EYFS Teaching Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our early years' education by assisting in the planning and delivery of the EYFS curriculum and contributing to the creation of a safe, nurturing environment for our youngest learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum within the classroom and outdoor learning spaces.
- Assist in planning and preparing engaging learning activities tailored to early years pupils.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to explore and learn.
- Help to assess children’s progress and report back to teachers and parents.
- Encourage children’s social and emotional development through play and interaction.
- Work closely with the class teacher to ensure that the needs of all children are met effectively.
- Administer paediatric first aid when necessary and maintain first aid records.
