We are looking for a confident, self-motivated individual to join the Planning Policy team and help take the Derbyshire Dales Local Plan forward.
The Derbyshire Dales has a wealth of stunning landscapes, beautiful market towns, picturesque villages, flourishing communities, innovative businesses historic buildings, over 1325 are listed buildings; conservation areas; archaeological sites and monuments plus historic parks and gardens – ours is truly a special place to work and live.
The ideal person must have good communication skills, be able to demonstrate initiative and solid application, as well as work under pressure. They may also have had some experience working either in a local planning authority planning department or in private practice.
A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline is essential.
