This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to take responsibility for whole-class teaching and learning on Thursdays and Fridays, delivering high-quality learning experiences that enable all children to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and leaders to ensure continuity of provision and maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour and personal development.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds HLTA status or can demonstrate equivalent skills and experience.
- Has experience of leading learning with groups and whole classes.
- Has a good understanding of the primary curriculum.
- Can adapt learning effectively to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
- Has high expectations for behaviour, achievement and wellbeing.
- Is committed to inclusion and ensuring every child succeeds.
- Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school life.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills.
In return, we can offer:
- Friendly, happy and enthusiastic children who enjoy coming to school.
- A committed and supportive staff team.
- Opportunities for professional development and further training.
- A welcoming school community where relationships matter.
- The chance to play a key role in supporting children's achievement and wellbeing.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
