The Headteacher and Governors of Simmondley Primary School are seeking a motivated, caring and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Teaching & Learning Assistant during the school day and After-School Club Leader in the afternoons/early evening. 

The Headteacher and Governors wish to appoint a conscientious and caring individuals to join our ‘team. The successful candidates will support pupils’ learning in the classroom, work with individuals and small groups, help create a positive learning environment, and contribute to children’s social and emotional development. From 3:15pm, they will lead our after-school provision, planning and delivering fun, safe and engaging activities for pupils of all ages.

  • Enjoys working with children and helping them learn
  • Is organised, proactive and confident leading groups
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
  • Has experience in an education or childcare setting
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s well-being 

Hours of work are 10:45pm – 545pm Monday – Friday.
