Teaching and Learning Assistant

Brampton Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and caring Grade 7 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a temporary position supporting teaching and learning across Year 3 and Year 4.

We are looking for a committed individual who:

• Has experience of working with primary-aged children.
• Can support pupils to achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.
• Works effectively as part of a team and builds positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Has a flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

The role will include:

• Supporting teaching and learning in Year 3 and Year 4 classrooms.
• Working with individual pupils and small groups.
• Assisting pupils with varying learning needs.
• Helping to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Supporting the implementation of planned learning activities and interventions.
