As a Teaching and Learning Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of pupils, particularly those with special educational needs and those who are disadvantaged.
These positions will initially be fixed term from September 2026 to December 2026, with the intention of extending beyond this. A job description and personal specification outlines the scope of the role. We require someone who enjoys working with children and is committed to supporting inclusion. The successful candidate must have a positive outlook, good communication and organisational skills and the ability to work on their own and as part of a team.
The role will involve working with closely with staff, families, SENCO, SLT and external partners. It is essential that the candidate has a secure knowledge of children’s learning and development.
There will be a number of grade 7 positions which will involve, under the direction of the class teacher, supporting children 1:1. Positions may be across school and subject to change as the needs of the children evolve.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.50am – 12.10pm
