Teaching and Learning Assistant (SEND)

Spire Nursery and Infant School are seeking to appoint an inspirational SEND Teaching and Learning Assistant to support our children within school. We pride ourselves on being a warm and welcoming school, with a supportive environment,  friendly staff and amazing children. 

We are a two form-entry school located in Chesterfield with 200 children on roll. The school is on a large site and includes a 2 year old nursery, a 3 and 4 year old nursery and an infant school.  We have extensive grounds which include a small farm, Forest School, a pond, and gardening facilities.    

We are appointing  an SEND Teaching and Learning Assistant for 15 hours per week to work 1:1 with a child in our nursery

You will be working with the Nursery teacher to ensure that the child’s EHCP targets are met. The Nursery embraces nature and the use of natural resources throughout the provision.
