The Governing Body of the Woodland Federation of Peak District Schools are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and flexible individuals to the role of Teaching Assistant, working 32.5 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours supporting breakfast club, after-school club, or wrap-around care provision until 6:00pm.
These positions will be based within one of our federation schools: Great Hucklow CE Primary School, Peak Forest CE Primary School, or Stoney Middleton CE Primary School.
The successful candidates will work with children across the primary age range, supporting learning in the classroom and working with small groups. There may also be the opportunity to support individual pupils on a 1:1 basis, depending on school needs.

- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with pupils, staff and parents
- Are able to adapt to a range of needs, including supporting children with additional or SEND needs
- Can work both independently and as part of a team
- Show initiative, flexibility and a positive attitude
- Have good organisational skills and the ability to follow guidance and meet expectations
- Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
