The Headteacher and Governing Body are looking for an enthusiastic, efficient, flexible and friendly person to join our team as a Play Worker for our After School Club based at Combs Infant School.

We are looking to appoint someone from October 2026. The maximum hours of work are 3.30pm to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday during term time.

The club caters for children from 3 to 7 years of age, providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment.

The person appointed will be responsible for organising structured play activities, both inside and out, preparing a light snack and cleaning up after the session.

Applicants must have a desire to work as a team, a passion for helping children to learn and a willingness to learn themselves. We offer a positive and thriving environment, well-behaved children, a great team of staff and a commitment to continuing professional development.

The applicant should have experience of working with children and ideally hold a childcare qualification.
