Park House Primary School is a popular one form entry school, situated in Lower Pilsley close to Clay Cross. We received a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating in July 2023. We have good links with the local community and offer a range of extra-curricular clubs. We are particularly proud of our sporting and music achievements.
The Governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding, highly motivated and committed practitioner to join our dedicated and friendly team from the 1st July or sooner at Park House Primary School.
The role is for a Pastoral Support Manager.
The successful candidate will:
- work closely with the SEND team
- Line manage Teaching Assistants
- Run SEMH interventions
- Monitor attendance
- Support families and pupils
The successful candidate will demonstrate essential professional characteristics, and in particular will:
- Have experience working with children with SEND, including SEMH.
- Engage and motivate pupils
- Build trusting relationships that support emotional regulation and wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with school staff, outside agencies and families
- Promote positive behaviour and a safe inclusive ethos.
- Improve the quality of pupils’ learning
- Inspire trust and confidence in pupils and colleagues
- Build team commitment with colleagues
- Able to demonstrate strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Able to assist pupils in managing personal care
