Gorseybrigg Primary School and Nursery is seeking a motivated, friendly and child centred TA to join our popular school. The post is temporary for one year in the first instance but may well become a longer term position for the right candidate.
We are looking for someone who:
- Can work under the direction of our class teachers and our SEN HLTA specialist to support both in class and also in 1:1 interventions with some of our younger SEN pupils.
- Can build excellent relationships with children, staff and parents
- Has experience in working with children in KS1
- Wants to further develop their skills and engage in training
- Can develop their own ideas in order to provide excellent in-class support
- Can ensure that the safety and care of our pupils is the highest priority
- Is efficient, adaptable and hard working
- Works well as part of a team and wants to contribute to making our school the best it can be.
