To provide learning and care support for pupils with special educational needs (SEND). To establish productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
The role will include the planning, preparation, delivery and ongoing assessment for identified pupils with SEND, liaising with the class teachers to deliver activities and supporting pupils with routines, transitions and behaviour management.
This post will also require the teaching and assessment of daily agreed Key stage 2 lessons likely to include Maths and other subjects as agreed with the Executive Headteacher and in conjunction with the KS2 class teacher. In addition, to lead the provision of agreed interventions to support identified pupils across KS1 and KS2.
