Eckington School are seeking a passionate and inspiring Teaching Assistant to provide support and guidance to students inside and outside of the classroom in their variety of learning needs.

In addition to excellent numeracy and literacy skills the essential requirements are excellent

communication, inter-personal skills, the ability to plan, assess and deliver a range of interventions including literacy and numeracy, and a desire to work with young people helping them to realise their potential.

Experience of working with young people in a school setting is essential.

The working hours are 8.15am – 3.55pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, Wednesday 8.15am – 4.00pm and Fridays 8.15am – 3.00pm.

This role requires candidates to have GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent). The successful candidate will be expected to provide evidence of their GCSE certificates.
