An exciting opportunity has arisen to join award-winning Derbyshire Catering Service.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Catering professional to manage and support multiple catering units at various locations.
As a Caterer you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of Derbyshire Catering Service outlets on the ground. This includes the management, supervision and support of kitchen teams which may extend to covering absences within units, providing training and assisting in the completion of clerical duties.
Our Caterers are knowledgeable in all areas of the kitchen and possess excellent communication skills both in person and over digital communications such as e-mail. This is essential as Caterers are our point of contact with hungry customers, headteachers and parents.
Qualifications & Requirements
Due to the nature of the role a full driving licence and daily access to a car is essential. Some flexibility may be required within Derbyshire.
As a Caterer you would ideally hold the NVQ Level 3 in Catering and Hospitality or have relevant experience with a sound knowledge of Health & Safety and possess a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Level 3.
