The Headteacher and the Governors of Matlock Bath Holy Trinity CofE Primary School, are seeking to appoint a flexible, friendly, enthusiastic and hardworking professional to join our team as a Caretaker with cleaning responsibilities to help maintain our school environment, ensuring it remains safe, secure and welcoming for children, staff, and visitors.
The successful candidate will take pride in keeping our school buildings and grounds clean, tidy, and well maintained. This is a varied role involving site security, routine maintenance, health and safety checks, and daily cleaning duties.
You'll work in collaboration with our other Caretaker who works the afternoon shift ensuring the site is opened and prepared before the school day.
Starting date: 1st April 2026 subject to references and DBS clearance (this is during the Easter holidays) - experience of caretaking desirable but not essential - training and a handover/induction period can be arranged for a suitable candidate.
