Bolsover South Adult Social Work Team are looking for an outstanding social worker to join us as a permanent 18 hours and 30 minute contract.

The base for this post is modern office at The Arc in Clowne, this is a hybrid role. We cover the area of Bolsover and Shirebrook down through Tibshelf, Blackwell and South Normanton to Pinxton, and you will need the ability to travel within and at times beyond this area.

We work with adults who require long term support or advice to gain or maintain independence and meet care and support needs, focusing on their outcomes and wellbeing. We undertake person centred strength-based assessment, review and support plans, which include informal support networks, formal services, and provision of equipment and technology to promote independence, working alongside health colleagues and other professionals and services. We support assessment for Continuing Health Care funding and provide professional support.

The successful person will be committed to achieving the best outcomes for the people we work with, able to effectively communicate with a range of people, have excellent IT skills, be able to adapt in a changing environment, be able to organise their workload to keep up with priorities, work effectively on their own, and be committed to supporting the team. We operate a duty rota which you would be part of.

The successful applicant will join a friendly and supportive team. You will be provided with an induction, and will have regular supervision, peer support meetings, training and workshops, and be encouraged to develop your own area of interest and expertise.
