The Living Well Team are looking for a Senior Practitioner to join Living Well Derbyshire. Living Well Derbyshire is focussed on helping local people to recover from mental health illness. The Living Well programme aims to offer more accessible mental health support from a variety of different healthcare professionals and the Voluntary Sector to promote a person’s mental health. Independence and wellbeing. The people you work with will have primary mental health needs, but may include people with a learning disability, drug or alcohol dependency and physical health needs.

The successful candidate will support professional development and effective delivery of the team.
You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside other Living Well partners, reporting to the the Service Manager and working with other Senior Practitioners to maintain high quality professional practice, and ensuring the Living Well social care teams have the necessary skills and training to deliver our services, alongside holding a small but complex case load. The role will be key in mentoring and coaching colleagues, including newly qualified workers and students, as well as working in partnership with stakeholders.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, resilience, the ability to work under pressure and be flexible and adaptable to cope with the varying demands and challenges of the post. You will apply a strengths-based approach to your practice focussing on co-production with people who use our service and their carer’s.
