We’re all about enablement that really matters - encouraging people to achieve their best in their own homes and communities. Do you like supporting colleagues to help people in the community to discover their own strengths? Can you encourage and support them to help people in the community to live as independently as they can?
This is a great time to join us because we are developing a new programme that wraps time-limited support around people at home. We’re looking for colleagues who can contribute their skills and expertise working with multi-disciplinary professional teams in localities across Derbyshire. We need team members who can support us to adopt new ways of working and make sure that collaboration around those we are working with is at the heart of everything we do.
We’re keen to hear from you if you:
- Enjoy a challenge
- Understand what it means to treat people with dignity and respect
- Have excellent leadership skills and the ability to create an inclusive team
- Can be creative and are forward thinking
- Are able to build a positive rapport with external bodies

- 25 days of annual leave plus another 5 once you reach 5 years of continuous service (pro rata for part time)
- Generous local government pension scheme
- Guaranteed incremental annual pay increases
- Cycle to work scheme
- Discounts at selected county leisure centres
- Derbyshire Rewards Scheme giving employees discount on their everyday spending
- Access to physio, mental health, and other wellbeing services
- And much more
The job will require unsocial hours working as you will be working a 4-week rolling rota that includes a working pattern of 7am to 3pm, 2pm - 10pm and 9am - 5pm including a proportion of weekends and Bank Holidays. Enhanced rates of pay will apply between 7pm and 7am and Bank Holidays.
