As a Relief Deputy Unit Manager, you will support the Unit Manager and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the centre.

πŸ”‘ Key Responsibilities

βœ… Overseeing the daily running of the centre during your shift
πŸ“ž Handling incoming phone calls
πŸ‘₯ Supporting staff rota and covering absences
🀝 Liaising with families, carers, and professionals (GPs, social workers, etc.)
πŸ’» Recording and updating information on computer systems
πŸ“ Completing risk assessments and care plans
πŸ› οΈ Reporting maintenance issues within the building
πŸ”₯ Carrying out Health & Safety checks (e.g. fire alarms, legionella monitoring)

The job may require unsocial hours working including weekends and Bank Holidays. Payment arrangements will be detailed in any contract offer made.

Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at plain time where it is part of your normal working pattern unless it is between 7pm and 7am, where enhanced rates of pay apply. Enhanced pay rates are paid for Bank Holiday working.
