We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our award-winning Education Data Hub as a Level 3 IT Apprentice Engineer.
This is an exciting opportunity to build real-world IT skills while supporting schools across Derbyshire. You’ll gain hands-on experience in technical support, digital systems and customer service, while working towards a recognised Level 3 qualification.

About the Role
As an IT Apprentice Engineer, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians providing ICT support to schools. You’ll help ensure systems are safe, reliable and performing effectively, while developing your own technical knowledge.
Your experience will include:
- Supporting IT systems in schools (hardware, software and networks)
- Assisting with installation, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Responding to support requests and resolving basic technical issues
- Helping schools get the most value from their digital tools
- Learning about cyber security, data protection and online safety
- Gaining exposure to a wide range of IT services and technologies
You’ll also benefit from varied learning opportunities, helping you develop a broad and adaptable skillset.

Additional Information
- This role will involve travel to schools across the county - driving licence & own transport is essential
- An Enhanced DBS check is required due to working with children
- You must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
