An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Business Services Team at the Darley Dale Highways Depot, for a committed and flexible individual to join the friendly team to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Highways Construction Service.
Working in a busy office the successful candidate will be required to perform a variety of duties which includes the approval and processing of external supplier invoices for payment via SAP Fiori, inputting of vehicle and plant utilisation data onto the SAP costing system; entering of stores issues and hired operator’s plant and vehicle information onto spreadsheets for management budgetary monitoring.
You may also be required to provide other administrative support including compiling simple spreadsheets, preparing memos and reception cover.
The successful applicant must be numerate, flexible, possess good interpersonal skills, and able to organise and prioritise their own workload to meet strict deadlines. As the primary responsibility of the post is to reconcile and process invoices it is essential that you are able to work with figures and financial data. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential requirements of the post. The post holder should have excellent communication skills, and a working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft packages would be beneficial.
The ability to speak fluent English in order to be able to communicate fully in the role with clients/the public is required.
